Position Summary

Comfort Temp Company is seeking a Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be driven, safety conscious, and well versed in the HVAC industry

Work Hours (Approximate)

7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Some overtime, evenings, weekends and light travel as needed.

Pay Scale

$32.00 – 38.​00 /​hour

Required Job Qualifications: (including but not limited to)

Establish and maintain effective communication within the department, as well as with other departments and all internal external customers.

Define the roles and position descriptions for the site work production staff.

Manage site safety as required and ensure subcontractor compliance with standards and all applicable safety codes, regulations, policies and procedures.

Ensure quality and finish of all work projects, insuring each meet company standards, and expectations to promote a reputation of excellence

Maintain high levels of production to meet profitability goals.

Designate team leads for all site work projects.

Work with Project Manager to develop master schedules for projects.

Assist with the establishment of project goals and projections consistent with master projects.

Monitor and maintain good communication with crew leads to coordinate all labor and equipment dispatch.

Attend and participate in all in-house and owner site work pre-construction meetings.

Assist with development of and adherence to project labor budgets.

Review all site work weekly schedules.

Maintain daily master schedule to implement change orders as needed.

Resolve local area problems regarding procedures, precedence, design clarifications, adequate labor and equipment, schedule and all other appropriate matters.

Education and/or Experience

Minimum 7 years responsible construction experience of which at least 3 years were spent in a supervisory capacity.

Ability to read and analyze construction plans and specifications.

High school diploma or GED certificate.

Knowledge and experience in the general site work demo and deconstruction industry.

Computer literate in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.

Strong communication skills in both written and verbal.

Ability to work in pressure environment and to meet deadlines.
