Lead Commercial Plumber

JOB DESCRIPTION:

CT Mechanical is seeking qualified lead commercial plumbers to join our growing team! Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in commercial/ industrial applications.

WORK HOURS (Approximate) 7am- 3:30pm. Some overtime and light travel as needed.

PAY SCALE: $20.00 – $25.00/hr Pay is negotiable depending on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install plumbing fixtures and equipment controls.
• Work with other trades, laborers, and general contractors to ensure scope of work is met
• Install water supply systems and waste drainage systems to meet standards of building codes and safety.
• Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, toilets, water heaters, etc.

• Must have all necessary tools required to complete job

REQUIREMENTS:

• Journeyman’s license or 3-5 years of experience in Commercial/ Industrial Plumbing
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and more than 50 pounds occasionally
• Able to work an 8 hour shift outdoors
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to pass a drug test
• OSHA 10 (preferred)
• Able to learn quickly and work at a fast pace
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Able to operate powered equipment including hand tools, stationary machines and others in a safe manner at all times
• Above average problem solving skills
• Able to drive a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license in order to commute to various job sites
