Commercial Plumbing Foreman

JOB DESCRIPTION:
CT Mechanical is looking for experienced Commercial Plumbing Foreman to join our grown team! Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in commercial/ industrial plumbing.

RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Travel to job sites in and around the greater Gainesville area
  • Oversee and ensure that all safety rules are being followed at all times
  • Verify that as built drawings are kept up to date an accurate
  • Install commercial plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping equipment
  • Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, adjusting as necessary due to weather, supply delivery, and personnel
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities and individual projects to the crew and contractors
  • Emphasis on the safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment
  • Oversee quality and safety standards on job sites
  • Resolve conflicts or miscommunication that may happen on-site quickly and amicably
  • Report project status to supervisors, site engineers and officials regularly
  • Work with other trades, laborers, and general contractors to ensure scope and expectations are met

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in commercial/ industrial plumbing (journeyman’s license preferred)
  • Experience with cast iron and copper pipefitting.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction best practices, equipment maintenance, and use, and OSHA guidelines
  • Knowledge of complete plumbing systems
  • Able to read drawings, plans, and blueprints and convey this information to others
  • Able to utilize company construction software, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Able to communicate and report effectively
  • Aptitude in math and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Able to drive a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license in order to commute to various job sites
  • Able to run multiple jobs simultaneously
  • OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 preferred)
  • Experience installing water heaters, toilets, sinks, faucets, and all plumbing related fixtures

Work Hours (Approximate)

7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Some overtime and light travel as needed.

Pay Scale
$25.00 – $30.00 / hour. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
